As a mother of two I understand how important capturing a child’s personality is. Gone are the days of saying ‘cheese’! I aim to catch your children at play, in beautiful light, with interesting compositions, that will really wow you!
How it works
I photograph children and families at home or on location (or even both if you live close to a nice location). The beach is an obvious winner for location shoots but if there is somewhere else you would rather go, I am open to suggestions. I am a huge fan of environmental portraiture and aim to capture the essence of the place, people and time. Sessions last between 1 to 2 hours.
What should we wear/bring?
For outdoor family shoots it looks great to wear neutral colours tied in with a pop of colour. Feel free to dress your kids in bright colours though, I love a pop of red or yellow against the sea and pastels work well against the beach huts. Try to avoid dark colours, logos and patterns.
What if the weather is bad for our outdoor shoot?
I book two dates for outdoor sessions, so that we have a back up if the weather is bad. My outdoor shoots take place later in the day, about an hour before sunset, to catch the best light, giving you beautiful images. I know this can sometimes be tricky with little ones but trust me, it is worth it.
Initial £65 session fee, paid at time of booking, includes up to 2 hours of shooting time and post production of images.
